Delete your Vertale account

You can delete your Vertale account and its data at any time, in the app or by email. The app is developed by [Tên pháp nhân / Legal entity].

Delete in the app

  1. Open Vertale and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Go to Me Account and security Delete account . If your app is in Vietnamese: Tôi, Tài khoản và bảo mật, Xóa tài khoản.
  3. Review the list of data that will be deleted, then confirm by signing in again with Apple or Google.

Before you delete

  • Deleting your account does not cancel Pro. Cancel the subscription in App Store or Google Play settings so it does not renew.
  • If you want a copy, download your data under Me, Account and security (JSON file).
  • Remaining AI credits, including purchased ones, are lost with the account.

Delete by email

Cannot open the app? Email hello@vertale.app from your account’s email address with the subject “Delete account”. We may ask a question to confirm you own the account, then delete it within 30 days and email you a confirmation.

Data that is deleted

  • Your account profile: name, email, avatar and Apple or Google sign-in link.
  • Linked channels: OAuth tokens are revoked and deleted, and scheduled posts not yet published are cancelled.
  • Projects synced to the cloud and all their files.
  • AI job history and results stored on the server, and your synced caption dictionary.
  • AI credit balance, referral codes, notification preferences and registered devices.
  • Your waitlist email if it matches your account email.

Data that is kept

  • Purchase records (transaction id, product, date, amount): kept for the period accounting and tax law requires.
  • Pseudonymised security logs: kept for up to 12 months to prevent fraud.
  • Aggregate statistics that cannot identify you.

Not affected

  • Projects and videos stored on your phone remain until you delete them or uninstall the app.
  • Posts already published to TikTok, Instagram or YouTube stay on those platforms; delete them there if you wish.

When data is deleted

Immediately on confirmation
The account is disabled, you are signed out on all devices and linked channels are disconnected.
Within 30 days
Data is permanently deleted from our primary systems and backups.

Deletion cannot be undone. You can still create a new account afterwards.

Using guest mode?

If you never signed in, we store none of your data on our servers. Uninstalling the app removes all data on the device.
